Dr. Dupont, the 10th of 11 children, was born in New Orleans, raised in Dallas, Texas, and spent her summers in Hancock County. She attended Loyola University and the University of Texas. She went to Texas Tech School of Medicine and completed her residency in pediatrics at ECU. She is board-certified in pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
